UNDOR Pro Protect Earns LabTest Certification to CSA and UL Cable-Protection Standards

PENETANGUISHENE, Ontario — September 22, 2026 — UNDOR Garage today announced that its flagship UNDOR Pro Protect EV charging cable protector has received certification from LabTest Certification Inc. to applicable Canadian and U.S. standards for non-metallic mechanical protection of cables.
The certification covers CSA C22.2 No. 227.3:25 and UL 1696, 4th Edition. UNDOR Pro Protect is designed for use with Level 2 EV charging cables measuring up to 0.9 inches in diameter.
A Purpose-Built Solution for Driveway EV Charging
As more homeowners install Level 2 charging equipment inside their garages, a common problem emerges when the vehicle itself is parked outside: how do you route the charging cable to the driveway while still allowing the garage door to close?
Running a charging cable directly beneath a garage door can expose the cable to repeated pressure and compression. Leaving the garage door partially open creates a different set of concerns involving weather, pests and heat loss.
UNDOR Pro Protect was developed specifically to solve that problem.
Installed at the garage-door threshold, Pro Protect creates a dedicated protected channel through which the EV charging cable can pass while allowing the garage door to close normally.
Installation also requires a compatible replacement garage-door bottom seal, helping the door conform around the Pro Protect units and maintain an effective seal along the garage floor.
