DIY Installation Instructions
UNDOR PRO Protect offers a unique, no-compromise way to safely pass cables and hoses under your garage door while it’s closed. It does mean that you’ll need to do a little installation work. Once installed, UNDOR PRO Protect is there when you need it, and out of the way when you don’t.
Installation should take less than an hour, with the bulk of that time allotted to replacing your garage door bottom seal. Watch the video below before tackling the installation, so you have an idea of what’s involved.
Find a Replacement Garage Door Seal
It’s important to find the correct seal for your garage door. The problem is, not all doors use the same type of door seal. Most doors now use a ’T style bulb seal’ but depending on your doors manufacturer, you may have a different type of seal; or no seal at all. We recommend trying to see what kind of seal your door takes by looking at the ends, or by searching for the seal type based on your garage door make and model.
Below, we’ve listed some online stores that sell garage door seals for just about every door type out there. If you’re having trouble finding the right seal for your door, we recommend reaching out to their support teams for assistance. If all else fails, you can contact a local company that specializes in garage door repair who will be able to assist you.
Is your door seal track damaged? Don’t have a door seal currently? Check out the door seal kits below that include a universal aluminum track that can be attached to the bottom of any garage door.
